Description of Ram Blowout Preventer:

The blowout preventer(BOP) is an essential pressure control device during driling and operations, as it serves to prevent the uncontrolled leakage of oil/gas from the wells. Our company can also produce annular BOP, single ram BOP and double ram BOP. The BOP rams are manifold, including: blind ram, pipe ram, shear ram and variable diameter ram.

1) According to the number of ram installed in each set, ram BOP can be divided into: Single ram, double ram and three ram BOP, which are respectively installed with one ram, two rams or three rams.

2) According to the ram opening and closing method, ram BOP can be divided into manual locking and hydraulic locking.

3) According to the different opening and closing method of bonnet, ram BOP can be divided into two forms: Rotating bonnet ram BOP and linear bonnet ram BOP. For the rotating bonnet ram BOP, when opening or closing bonnet, the bonnet rotates on the hinge sear fastened on the body, the ram cam cavity shape of such BOP is rectangle.

4) For the linear bonnet ram BOP, when opening or closing bonnet, the bonnet makes linear motion along the two bonnet opening and closing plunger rods fastened on the body, the ram cavity shape of such BOP is elliptic.

Connection types:The BOP are offered with studded, flanged and hubbed top and bottom connections. The sizes of flanges, bolts, clamps and ring grooves all conform to API 16A and GOST standards.

Ram Blowout Preventer (Cameron Style) is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 16A standard. It can be equipped with various rams. With the best quality front ram rubber, top ram rubber and flange sealing stacks, ram blowout preventer (Cameron style) can work during the extreme working condition including extremely high or low temperature and extreme chemical environment.

Structure Features
The pressure‐bearing components are forged, so it has better strength and impact toughness;

Floating sealing is applied to the cylinder cover and the open/close of the cover is realized by hydraulic power, so it is quick and convenient for changing rams;

The auxiliary oil cylinder affords a smaller volume with same function;

The standard configuration includes a manual locking device, which ensures the ram is closed tightly in case there is a hydraulic pressure loss;

Both the manual and hydraulic locking device and the auxiliary oil cylinder can be installed flexibly into different positions according to customers' requirements, and the installation positions can be changed easily.

Ram Blowout Preventer (Shaffer Style) is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 16A standard. It can be equipped with various rams from 2‐3/8"~13‐3/8", also Blind and Shear Ram.

Structure Features
Body and side door are made of alloy steel;

Use seal rings assembly to improve sealing of side door;

Use floating type ram. Front ram rubber is separated from top ram rubber, making it more reliable in sealing and easier to change;

Use buried oil way inside body. Loading hinge is separated from hydraulic hinge;

Compact hinge structure makes it easy to assemble and disassemble;

Use arc-shaped body chamber with four round corners as transition section to reduce stress peak value whenever bearing the pressure;

Ram cavity can be fitted with ram assembly of same type BOP made abroad;
